Triangle Partnership

This week I attended the presentations from Group 7 on the Triangle TA Academy 101 programme.  Triangle has been working for some years now with Crown Pet Foods, teaching the tools of Transactional Analysis to staff from the factory, the sales team, the IT team and finance team, as well as senior management.

Professional coaches have a wide range of skills as well as experience of the working world.  Any programme which aims to develop those skills would include questioning skills, building rapport, reading body language and listening skills etc.

Try Hards have lots of energy and enthusiasm, and they are fun to be with. They need to focus, finish what they start - and celebrate success (rather than looking for another project to start, qualification to work through, mountain to climb .....).  Enjoy the view!

Contact with DTA students, paperwork sorted, meetings planned and Action Learning Set arranged.  All good and feel very satisfied.  I am also getting to grips with technology and have something exciting to work on - sorting the detail at the moment, but let's just say I hope it will go global!

Good at reading people, kind and friendly, nice to be around, always thinking of others - how about looking after yourself by contracting clearly, saying no sometimes, staying I'm OK You're OK?  Take care of yourself!  You are responsible for you!  Enjoy your task ....

The Transactional Analysis International Trainers' meeting took place in Bucharest last week, where most days were in the early 30 degrees centigrade.  Exams for Certified Transactional Analyst and Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst level took place before the meeting, as well as the European Association of Transactional Analysts (EATA) general meeting.  Julie Hay was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at this meeting for her contribution to the TA community, which is extensive and considerable.  Read the next issue of the IDTA newsletter for details.
