A new supervision group, based in Torquay is being launched this year with the next date being 27 April.  If you are a coach, facilitator, trainer, or consultant then you are probably already aware of the benefits of supervision.  Due to the process of discounting, we do not always see for ourselves what is blocking us or the client, or something we are not taking account of in the process.  Bringing our work to supervision is the professional way to solve problems and to make sure we are not getting in the clients way!
                                                                         
Added to this benefit, a supervision group also allows peer to peer support – a community of professional practice which brings its own benefits: regular contact with like-minded professionals and experts, being part of a network, a “safe” place to try out ideas, or practice a presentation, or upcoming teach etc.

This is a very practical method of continuing professional development.  The group will be relatively small (6 – 8 participants), to enable all to have at least one slot of supervision.  We will sometimes conduct process reviews which enable another layer of learning and short inputs of Transactional Analysis theory will be delivered as appropriate.
