The TA Academy

The TA Academy (TAA), based in the southwest of England, promotes Developmental Transactional Analysis (DTA) through both in-house and public programmes.

The Academy provides a community of professional practice for coaches, trainers, facilitators and consultants who wish to enhance their existing skills by applying the underpinning framework of DTA.

It also provides, through the TA Fundamentals programme, a place for people who wish to develop into trainers and/or coaches where they will not only begin their TA journey, but learn about TA in the context of training and coaching.

TA is a theory of personality, of child development and a psychological approach to human behaviour.Developmental TA has so much to offer organisations and the people who work in them in terms of:

• Personal development
• Leadership development
• Dealing with conflict
• Dealing with difficult people
• Performance Management

A recent participant said that learning about TA had “given her tools to understand her own behaviour, and how others were behaving around her”.

TA Fundamentals can also be run as an in-house programme.

The Academy also provides a Certificate and Diploma route to the Certified Transactional Analyst status, which is an internationally recognised qualification in Transactional Analysis.

The Triangle TA Group (TTAG) meets regularly and is for trainers, coaches, consultants and facilitators who wish to join a community of professional practice, to learn more about Transactional Analysis and to get group supervision of their work. It is also a supportive group for those keen on personal development.
