Triangle TA Academy is launching a brand new programme from January 2012.

This 20 day programme conducted in two day modules held at weekends, is for participants with little or no coach training, who are considering a change in direction and who have the attributes and abilities appropriate to the coaching profession. Group numbers will be kept low to ensure individual attention and support.

The programme will teach you the fundamentals of the coaching relationship and will also introduce you to the tools of Transactional Analysis (TA). TA is a psychological approach to understanding human behaviour and its framework of concepts and models will equip the new coach with a solid foundation on which to build an understanding of the human psyche. A TA 101 certificate will be awarded.

Participants will also cover the areas of questioning and listening skills, body language, Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques and coaching models etc. Opportunities to practice the taught skills will be offered through coaching practice during and between the modules. Participants will also get regular feedback on their progress, and the opportunity to bring their work to group supervision.

Participants who then go on to develop a coaching practice will also be eligible to undertake the Certificate in Developmental TA (Coaching), awarded through the International Centre for Developmental Transactional Analysis. This award also carries the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Practitioner Award. For those who wish to continue their studies in TA and Coaching, the Certificate, then the Diploma leads into a Masters element which also carries the EMCC Master Practitioner award.

Assessment:
• A 10 minute presentation of your learning journey
• 30 minute recording accompanied by a reflective commentary
• Applied hours: 30 hours delivering coaching, 20 hours receiving coaching
