Train the Trainer Programme

This Train the Trainer programme will equip participants to deliver management and personal development programmes with the underpinning psychological framework of Transactional Analysis tools, concepts and techniques.

The participants will be existing trainers who have a sound knowledge of training and learning delivery. They will have a keen interest in their own personal development, and a passion for developing other people.

TA is a social psychology, a theory of human personality and a systematic approach for growth and personal change in individuals, groups and organisations. It rests on a belief in the capacity of human beings to fulfil their potential and flourish. The emphasis on taking personal responsibility and the importance of behavioural change and moving forward, meld these concepts into a powerful framework which can be used by individuals in a range of different situations.

This programme aims to equip participants with a rock-bed of theory and practice that will inform their professional practice for years to come, as well as giving them solid sessions to deliver to their participants, whether they are in-house or independent trainers.

The programme will cover:
Ego States: where are you coming from? What is the impact of your communication style?
Games: who messes with your mind, and why do you let them?
Drivers: what are your strengths? And developmental areas?
Discounting: what are you not accounting for? What problems are you not solving?
Strokes: different strokes for different folks – what recognition are you giving? Getting?
Life Positions: do you see the world from a one-down, one-up position? One-up, one-down?

And much, much more: personal support, a community of practice, personal discovery. You will learn and understand the concepts, how to deliver in an effective way and you will receive supervision on your delivery. And, a theoretical basis on which to structure your training delivery.
